Washington College piano student set to perform in Carnegie Hall
Suzuka Kokubu, Matthew’s piano student at Washington College, won a 2nd Place Prize in the American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition. As a result, she will perform Ravel’s “Oiseaux tristes” from Miroirs at Weill Recital Hall of Carnegie Hall in New York City on November 27th at 1pm!
6-wire Chamber Music America Grant
Matthew finished his 15th outreach performance of the 2015-2016 season with 6-wire at the Newark Free Library, as part of their Chamber Music America Residency Partnership Grant which helped them bring music to underserved schools and community centers in Delaware.
